SWASH evaluation



MSABI in line with multiple activities is now running education program in schools on water, sanitation, and hygiene and environment cleanliness. 28 schools are involved in this program, currently sanitation team is doing second evaluation to all these schools to get information’s from school children and teachers, the reason behind is to be able to determine/evaluate this education program to school already got education on SWASH and those without. Does this program have any impact or not.    
This information will be used for comparison among schools with school WASH clubs and those without.

Through focus group discussion, the team have realize students understanding on the important of water, self and environment cleanliness, for example 80% of all focus group discussion (complies of 20 pupils each) have knowledge on water and diseases that may erupt because of poor environmental care.

Figure 3. After the discussion, students also participated on latrine inspection to look on actual situation and the cleanness status, as you can see some cover their mouth because of the bad smell coming out of those rooms.
