My name is Penina Liseki working as office secretary with MSABI. Am engaged with office clerical, and customer care duties but this time have added with new interesting task. My new task is offering a free filter Tembo filter pot in a marry –go-round system. The water point group owners are encourage to contributing money and buying pots for one another until all members are finished and have filters. Women in Tanzania had this system for different social and economic helpings but I didn't understand if it was the same traditional system just polished with another name called ‘Marry-go-round’. A coupon for a free filter pot will be offered to a fortunate person during a lottery game conducted by Quality and Assurance Manager when conducting training and handing over of a water point. A winner is offered with a coupon to collect his/her filter pot either at the office or the nearest local agent. I am very happy because this has increase an opportunity for people especially rural families to buy filters that will help them get clean and safe water. Either, this will compliment other marketing strategies devoted to increasing filter pots sales and distribution to the very remote areas.
