MSABI is looking forward to commence the implementation of its multi-layered high impact WASH program ont the other side of Kilombero Valley (Ulanga district). Currently the Education Manager is conducting an in-depth evaluation and assessment of latrines and water points distribution across the region. He will also get the understanding of social economic and cultural practices of the people in remote areas.

He has started with observing school water points and sanitation facilities where the school drama team is working with school children under a USAID funded hygiene education project. 31 Primary Schools will be visited with this education team programs.

Following activities are done when evaluating a school latrine or water point:
  1. Identifying type and functionality of latrine/water point
  2. Identifying the water sources available in school and villages of Ulanga
  3. General information about health indicators, social economic, water points information and behavior assessment in schools and villages.
