Another trip to Dar

I have just returned from another trip to Dar.  All to frequent these days - it really becomes a drag, a whole days travel each way.  Luckily I was able to take a lift with my friend Jason in his car this time.  The reason for travelling was to purchase materials for the construction of another 2 "rota sludge" drill units.  Soon we will have 5 drill units - the potential to be drilling up to 5 boreholes at the same time!!!!  We were accompanied by John, the "fundie" who is manufacturing the drill sets and rope pumps in Ifakara.  It is much cheaper to place a bulk order in Dar and have materials delivered by to Ifakara.  We have purchased enough materials to also construct another 20 pumps, which will bring us close to constructing 50 rope pumps by the end of this year!  I also managed to obtain some more information on how to form the MSABI registered NGO status in Tanzania - though I found out I have to return to Ifakara to obtain further signatories.  Next time...
